The application of data design and analysis has been gradually evolving in the pharmaceutical industry, leading to the creation of new roles and responsibilities for statisticians and statistical programmers. The Industry-Academic Connect event aims to provide attendees with valuable insights into the drug development journey and the three major role streams required in the industry, namely Statistician, Statistical Programmer, and Data Scientist/Analyst. The event features a panel discussion with industry and academic leaders on the theme "Forging Partnerships: Enhancing Collaboration between Industry and Academia".
